Make sure both your Google Analytics and premium Wix accounts are created before integrating Google Analytics to Wix. Using Google Analytics in your Wix site allows you to have an easier time viewing all of the information Google Analytics collects without needing to open an external site to view it. You can organize your data that way you can track the information that will be most beneficial for your business.

Advantages to Adding Google Analytics to Wix

Using Google Analytics allows website owners to be able to track information about the visitors to a site as well as the overall success of web pages. Now why should you connect Google Analytics to Wix? Here are some advantages of having Google Analytics connected to Wix:

  • View the bounce rate - percentage of the viewers of a site that leave without engaging with the website content
  • See where most of the site traffic originates from
  • See how much time users spend on specific web pages on the site
  • And more…

Tracking and Watching Visitors to Your Site

Using Google Analytics you can track all kinds of information about the visitors to your site. The combination of Google Analytics and Wix allows you to track the visitors to your site and view their activities on your site without using another external tool. It is super important to track your visitors based on SEO (search engine optimization) purposes because Google is now ranking websites based on the amount of time visitors spend on the webpage.

When you watch what your visitors are doing on your site it will help you to determine what if anything needs to be improved on your site. You will want to watch what your visitors do after tracking. Using Google Analytics within your Wix site can make watching what your visitors do even easier to view because you will not need to use an external site.

While watching what your visitors are doing, it is always a good idea to ask them for feedback. With this feedback, you will be able to see how their user experience was and determine if you need to improve your site. Paying attention to the responses they give when you ask for feedback will allow you to make your site the best it can be.

Feedback Tools

There are some feedback website tools that you can use to help you learn what your customers/visitors think of your site/product. Based on this feedback you can make any necessary changes to keep your customers happy and keep them coming back to your site. These feedback tools will give you access to information that you are unable to view using Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics. This is because Google Analytics and other analytics tools work great for giving you what they do, but if you want a more in-depth look at your information you will want to use feedback tools. Some examples of good feedback tools are:

  • Voice of Customer - Survicate, WebEngage, Hotjar, etc.
  • Community Feedback Tools - UserVoice, UserEcho, GetSatisfaction, etc.
  • Usability Feedback Tools -  Usersnap, TrackDuck, etc.
  • Webshop Review Tools - Trustspot.io, TrustPilot, Feefo, etc.
  • Traditional Survey Tools - GetFeedback, Google Forms, Typeform, SurveyMonkey, etc.

If visitors are having a hard time using your site it can cause them to leave your site. You will want to keep them as engaged as possible but without overwhelming them. The user interface of your site needs to be easy to understand so they do not click off. This interface needs to be accessible from both a desktop and a mobile device. Each version of your site needs to be easy to use since customers can view it from any device.
